Social License Director, Siting and Permitting

Hilary is ACP's Social License Director for Siting and Permitting. She is the ACP staff liaison for the Land Use Planning Committee, leading the efforts on non-wildlife state and local siting and permitting issues for utility-scale wind, solar, and energy storage projects. She helps guide policy direction for the renewable energy industry around these issues. She works closely with the ACP’s State Affairs, Local Affairs, and Communications teams to advance industry interests, as well as with ACP’s standards development bodies. Hilary has a bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of San Diego and a master's degree in International Environmental Policy from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey.
