Kelly Sarber led the development of the largest energy storage project in New York State and is expert at gaining approvals, using nationally recognized Fire Risk Alliance to manage FDNY approvals. Scott Bryant, President of Fire & Risk Alliance and the nation's leader in fire and risk engineering, brings a national perspective to fire departments' thought processes and global perspectives about where the industry is heading and how energy storage systems can be improved from a safety standpoing. Anthony Natale brings his 23-year fire management career embedded into Con Edison as FDNY's primary liaison, and tasked with working at the intersection of local approvals for energy storage systems including risk management, exercises, policy, training, program management, strategic planning and incident management. Anthony also sits on NFPA 855’s technical committee to support code focused on public safety and that of first responders operating at the scene of a BESS emergencies. A highly placed FDNY representative will be invited to participate in the panel if selected.
