Ascend Analytics

Allison Weis, VP of Battery Storage, leads Ascend’s battery storage team, which provides decision analytics, consulting, and software products to support storage and renewable systems operating in wholesale electricity markets. Allison leads valuation of storage projects for finance and acquisition across the US as well as bidding optimization for operating projects. Prior to Ascend, she worked in Tesla’s Energy Storage Division, optimizing the application of their products to energy markets worldwide after completing a PhD at Carnegie Mellon studying the integration of renewable energy and electric vehicles.
