Ashley Crowther is the Global Vice President for ONYX Insight (a BP company in the renewable space), a global independent provider of consultancy and predictive analytics to the Wind industry. He heads up the global commercial and engineering activities and has worked many leading power producers on improving turbine operations and maintenance. As a founding member of ONYX, Ashley’s drive has been to push the wind industry towards data transparency, improved analytics and optimized plant management, so as to reduce OPEX and increase the competitiveness of wind versus other non-renewable power generation. Ashley’s background is commercial and technical, with a PhD in engineering.
