Antora Energy
Jordan Kearns is an entrepreneur building innovative, clean energy companies. Currently, Jordan is an executive with Antora Energy—an energy storage startup electrifying and decarbonizing industrial process heat and backed by Bill Gates’ Breakthrough Energy Ventures. In his role at Antora, Jordan leads deployment of Antora’s technologies at industrial facilities and guides Antora’s commercialization and regulatory strategies. Prior to Antora, Jordan was the Founder and CEO of Medley Thermal, a company also working to electrify industrial heat, which was acquired by Antora Energy. Jordan received his graduate education from MIT, earning master’s degrees in Technology & Policy and Nuclear Science & Engineering. Jordan conducted academic research at the MIT Energy Initiative on the economics of high renewable penetration grids and as a Fulbright Fellow to Estonia where his worked focused on energy security and decarbonization strategy. As an undergraduate, Jordan attended Washington and Lee University, where he graduated valedictorian, receiving a B.S. in Physics-Engineering, a B.A. in Politics, and a minor in Russian Area Studies. Jordan has worked as an independent consultant advising industry, NGOs, and governments on energy strategy and has been recognized for his work in energy in Forbes 30 Under 30. Through his work, Jordan’s goal is to help build a future where energy is cheap, clean, and secure.
