Dan Hendrick is Head of External Affairs (East) for Clearway Energy Group. Clearway is one of the largest renewable energy companies in the U.S., with 6.9 gigawatts of wind, solar, and energy storage assets that offset the equivalent of more than 10.5 million metric tons of carbon emissions for the company’s customers.

Dan has over 15 years’ experience leading external affairs campaigns. At Clearway, he is responsible for managing state and local advocacy and community engagement in the Eastern U.S. Prior to joining Clearway, Dan was Director of External Affairs (East) at NRG, a Fortune 500 energy company.

Dan is a proud Navy veteran, as well as a filmmaker and author. He is past president of NY-SEIA, was a founding board member of the Coalition for Community Solar Access and is currently the Chair of ACP’s East Region Committee.
