Presentation Description: Energy storage technologies are evolving rapidly to combat challenges from raw material costs increases, supply chain issues, hazards and other market disrupting innovations. The huge investments in the industry are allowing Li-ion to make improvements, as well as other non-lithium alternatives are gaining momentum. Navigating the various technologies, the differences in density, performance cost, etc. weighed against the use case for the system can be difficult. This presentation will cover the various storage technologies and how they fit in the market, industry trends, and overall technology readiness level.

  • 1. Understand the existing technologies and how they are improving and adapting to changing codes/standards.
